If you are making a list of grunge bands, you have to use some kind of a definition of grunge music.
I used a narrow definition of the term. If you are putting Smashing Pumpkins up there with the grunge bands your definition is way too broad, in my opinion.
When I picked the bands I had manly two things in mind. If the band is not from the Seattle area it was harder to get on the list. They had to be on the top of their game between 88 and 94.
If you are looking far a list, you want more list and less babble. So here we go.
